We act on behalf of clients who are the subject of enquiries such as the recent investigation into the alleged money laundering racket involving prominent members of the financial and mortgage industry possibly including developers, solicitors, surveyors and mortgage lenders. The investigation is being carried out by officers from Greater Manchester and Cheshire Constabulary with the assistance from the Serious Organised Crime Agency.

Eleven men have been arrested in connection with this Operation in the North West of England. 150 officers have searched a number of properties in Bolton, Whitefield and Salford including the seizure of items from these properties for forensic examination.

These eleven men are currently being questioned by SOCA under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

Investigations are anticipated to be long and complex and may result in serious charges being brought against a large number of individuals.
